Agreement
These terms apply to the use of this website and to quotations, orders and services provided by Rama Wood Crafts (“we”, “us”). By requesting a quotation, placing an order or making a payment through this site, you agree to these terms.
Quotations
Quotations issued through this site or following a consultation are estimates based on the information and measurements available at that time. A quotation is valid for [NUMBER] days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
Final pricing may change if site measurements differ from those originally supplied, if you request changes to the design, materials or finishes after approval, or if site conditions require additional work. Any such change will be communicated and agreed with you before it is carried out.
Orders and payment
An order is confirmed once the design and quotation are approved in writing and the booking advance is received. Payment schedules are set out in your individual quotation and typically follow the stages of booking advance, manufacturing instalment and balance on completion.
Payments made through the payment portal on this site are processed by our gateway partner over a secure connection. Please ensure the amount and reference details you enter are correct before confirming a payment.
Manufacturing and installation
Manufacturing begins only after the design is approved in writing. Timelines quoted are working estimates and may be affected by material availability, site readiness, access restrictions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for providing safe and clear access to the site, along with power and water where required for installation. Delays caused by site unreadiness may affect the schedule and, where significant, the cost.
Materials and finishes
Wood is a natural material. Minor variation in grain, colour and texture between samples and the finished product is inherent to the material and is not a defect. Where an exact match matters to you, please raise it before manufacturing begins so we can select accordingly.
Warranty
We provide a warranty of [PERIOD] on our workmanship from the date of installation, covering manufacturing and installation defects. Hardware, fittings and appliances supplied by third parties carry their manufacturers’ own warranties.
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidental damage, water ingress from external sources, unauthorised modification or repair, or normal wear and tear.
Intellectual property
Designs, drawings and layouts prepared by Rama Wood Crafts remain our intellectual property. The content of this website — text, images and design — may not be reproduced without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ludhiana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
